George Pau joined Alambic as a Quant Strategist in 2017. Prior to joining Alambic, Mr. Pau was a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory where he lead a research team tasked with leveraging machine learning in computational modeling of environmental phenomena.
Mr. Pau has a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from the Universiti Teknologi Petronas in Malaysia, as well as a Masters in High Performance Computation in Engineered Systems from National University of Singapore.
Mr. Pau was awarded his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in 2007. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2023.
